Mini Storm Launcher Successful Flight
The last four times I have flown my Mini Storm Launcher, I have flown it into a tree.
Today I had a break through and made some great progress.
What I learned is that it really takes about 50 yards to turn the plane around.
Once I got that through my head, then things really started to work much better.
The other break through that I made was that I figured out that the adjustment knob works better than the flight control knob.
So what I do is just turn the trim adjustment all the way to the left, this puts the plane in a left hand turn all the time.
With the power full on, then plane will now fly in a 50 yard circle.
When it starts to move off the football field I am trying to keep it on, then I just adjust the trim back to straight for a little bit and I can get it back circling on the field again.
The other discovery I made, was that it flies much better when the wind is not blowing.
The last time I was flying I would have been ok, I had my 50 yards to turn in, but a gust of wind blew the plane off the foot ball field and right into the top of a tree.
Once you have these basics down, then the plane actually flies pretty good, and it’s a lot of fun.
