Hydrofoam Motors
After my disappointment with the Air Hogs Storm Launcher, I am starting to wonder what kind of motor do I really need to move something across the grass.
I have noticed that some of the hydrofoams have a 280/380 brushless motor.
I don’t really know what that is, but I am hoping it has more power than the Storm Launcher engine that I bought.
I am also starting to realize that this hobby takes a lot of time, and I think the small foam planes are ok to buy because you can fly them straight into the ground from 50 feet up and it doesn’t really damage them.
But with the more expensive models, you have to be much more careful and once you have several hundred dollars spent on one, you can’t just quit because some little part broke.
So replacing parts is very important to this hobby.
